Matthew D. Lynch

Matthew D. Lynch is an Associate in the real estate, business law, and general litigation practice groups. Before joining Askin & Hooker, Matt focused his career in the areas of family law, worker’s compensation, real estate, estates and trusts, and environmental law. Matt is a well-rounded attorney who prides himself on being a member of this community.

Following his graduation from Middletown High School, Matt obtained his B.A. from Florida State University. He graduated with his J.D. from New York Law School. After graduating from law school, Matt primarily worked as a contract attorney for various groups before he completed his LLM from Vermont Law School, specializing in Environmental Law.

Upon the completion of his LLM degree, Matt entered Army basic training in Fort Benning, Georgia. After successfully graduating basic training, Matt then moved on to his AIT (Advanced Individual Training) in Fort Rutger, Alabama, becoming an aviation specialist. Matt currently serves as a First Lieutenant in the Vermont National Guard, attached to the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Just this past year, Matt graduated from JAG (Judge Advocate General) School in Charlottesville, Virginia.

He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association as well as the New Jersey State Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division.

Matt is devoted to the conservation of birds and healthy ecosystems with his membership to the National Audubon Society.

Matt grew up in Lincroft, New Jersey, but now resides in the Borough of Franklin. Matt has always been an avid runner and has completed six marathons. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, puzzles, and trivia.
