The Law Firm of Askin & Hooker, LLC celebrated Earth Day on Saturday April 23 by supporting the Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation in their annual Earth Day clean up picking up trash and debris along the Wallkill River in the area of the PAL building and Station Park. Partner, Bill Askin, is a Trustee and Board Secretary of the Foundation which is committed to preserving Lake Mohawk and the headwaters of the Wallkill River. “The Earth Day Spring Clean-up has quickly become one of our most popular and successful annual events” stated Bill. “In just two years, we have collected more than 100 bags of trash, over 10,000 non-biodegradable cigarette filters and other debris”.
The Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation is a non-profit public charity under Section 501 (C) (3). All donations are tax deductible.
